Silicon Almanac. desk

The record is free. This is the desk.

Every number on siliconalmanac.com stays public and links to the publisher that issued it. A seat here is not access to the data. It is the working surface over it: what you watch, what moved, what you took, and what you made of it.

Founders' Circle

€99 a year, lifetime rate

50 seats in total. Your rate for as long as you keep the seat, not a first-year discount. It is below list because the restatement alert is not built yet, and charging list for a promise is not what this record does.

Annual seat

€290 a year · €29 a month equivalent

The price once the alert ships. Billed once a year; there is no monthly plan. Deliberately above the tools that follow sources and below the price at which a purchase order is needed.

A free account

€0 no card

One watchlist, a month of changes, three citations. Enough of each thing to see whether it is worth having.

Every figure links to the publisher that issued itThe thing a source that computes estimates cannot do: it has nothing to link to. Included Included Included

Reaching it with a machine
Read the whole record from inside your AI assistantA file you run yourself, or one address pasted into your assistant. No account, no key, no sign-in. It returns rows with the publisher and the link on every one, and refuses to return a row that has neither. See it → Included Included Included
It cannot summarise, rank or interpret anythingNot a chatbot, on purpose. A summary of a sourced fact is an unsourced restatement of it, which is the failure this record exists to prevent. Included Included Included
It can tell an assistant what nobody publishesThe gap register, reachable by machine. An assistant that cannot find out a figure was never published will invent one instead. Included Included Included
Watching
Watchlists, narrowed by source categoryOne genuinely watches, which is why the free limit is a number and not a refusal. — 1 Unlimited
What changed since you last caught upA diff against your last visit rather than a fixed window. — Included Included
How far back that reachesWhere memory is priced. — 31 days Whole record
How the sources themselves behaveMeasured cadence, quiet periods, days between a publisher’s date and the feed carrying it. — — Included
Watch a traced claim, and see what moved on itThe trace is on the record and states no conclusion about any claim. This is the part that needs an account: a new item added to a trace you cited, a new statement from a named party, or the sentence itself reworded. See it → Read it free — Included
Keeping
Citations kept with the value as it stoodNever refreshed. That snapshot is the entire point. — 3 Unlimited
Notes on an itemPrivate, kept with the headline as it read when you wrote it. — — Included
Read and starredThe record remembers in this browser. The desk remembers across them. In this browser — Included
Collections you file things intoNamed, and each with its own reason to exist, so a board pack and a supplier review stay two collections instead of one long list. — — Included
What you kept, out as a spreadsheet or a written briefCSV for a spreadsheet, Markdown for a written brief, your own notes alongside, and the publisher’s link on every row. What leaves is what you kept or filed, never a copy of the archive, which is why the record’s column is empty rather than withheld: it holds nothing of yours to export. — — Included
Not built yet, and said so rather than implied
Restatement alerts that reach you without lookingThe comparison already works; what is missing is the part that arrives on its own. — — October
An API key, a calendar of the dates behind what you watch, a webhookNone of the three exists in any form. No month is given because none has been set, and a date invented to fill this column would be the promise this block exists to mark. — — After the alert
Your watchlists, notes and citations inside your AI assistantThe free record already works there with no account. This is the other half: a hosted endpoint where the desk’s own tools appear once you sign in, so “a figure you cited has been restated” arrives where you already work. Nothing of it is built, and it is undated for the same reason as the row above. — — After the alert
